The Project

A giant interactive sign, which engages with fans who post to social media using #GREYCUP.

Custom Fabrication

WXM constructed a giant 7ft x 50ft interactive LED sign which could react to fan tweets in real-time.

User Interface Software

Consumers were invited to tweet their messages of support using #GREYCUP along with their team’s colours e.g. #ARGOSBLUE.


A software program designed by WXM detected these hashtags, signalling the sign to glow in coinciding CFL team colours.


Over the period of a month, thousands of pictures and tweets were posted, helping Canadians share their passion for the game.
